Today,
PingF texted both Vickson and I in the morning, saying that she would be having
a video meeting with her boss tomorrow and will therefore have to cancel our
appointment. Instead of getting upset, I was rather disappointed. In fact, I
said this to no one as I lay on the bed, “what does the meeting tomorrow have
to do with today?”
It don’t
matter, I told myself to calm any signs of agitation. I was determined to
have fun. So I texted Vickson to meet up at the harbor, and we went for some
Indian buffet. There we talked for another two hours. The skies went gray and
the rain fell lightly, coloring the pavement two shades darker. We then headed to
Rotunda for some shelter, and ended up watching Epic.
Another
decent movie, but at $9, it’s a great price for some 3D action. The cinema was
pretty much empty except for us two, and another Indian mother-son. As Vickson
was coming down with some pollen allergies, I hasten him home. The rain
continued on.
