Q: You're a good girl and you know it.

One of those random conversations with the roommate;

Me: If the capital city of South Korea is Seoul, what is the capital city of North Korea?

Her: Palm!

She misheard “Seoul” as “Sole”.

Q: A slap to Teresa is a slap to women.

I want it that way. You do not tell me what to do when you’re in my territory. Especially so, since I learn nothing new from it. Geez, who am I kidding. I took this bug up my ass, and the adult thing to do is dealing with it. Funny, I honestly felt a power struggle within the space. But she doesn’t understand. This should not be a power struggle. You’re in Vonnieland. Simply put, we allow fun but go overboard, and we’re sounding the security. It’s written here on these walls, strictly no renovation.

Keep telling myself. Two more months.

O wait. You just came up to me to say that you brought a friend and she’s coming this Sunday. Great, just great. Let me put this into context for you. I respect people and where they come from; so don’t take it for granted. Don’t abuse my respect for you. Look at you, talking loudly on your phone for hours into the night. Your mom even reminded you that your behavior may bother me, but clearly you’re not the sort to listen.

Chewing my lips. Need to chap that.

Dolly faced,

Q: Vaio is history.

I’ve nailed Payphone by the melody. Rhythm has yet to come together, but for what it’s worth, 20 minutes on the guitar each day is taking me closer to perfection. The roommate wishes to record the song, but the mistakes wouldn’t allow for public hearing. Including this song, I’ve 20 fingerstyles by memory. Next up, We Were In Love (revised) because I need to belt one Korean at least. I can see this pacing bring me up to thirty songs by the end of the year. Well, I am optimistic in that respect. Ten songs per year? Consider it done.
Eh, what is this dinner invite I got right here? It’s for…tonight?! Meh, I think kofta is decent for today. All’s good here. Don't think I want to stay up all night for it tho. I am not afraid of the homeless, I am afraid of the cold.

String change,
Vonnie S.

Q: Sometimes cameras catch what the eye can’t see.

Classes just started. Both are going by the hands off concept; one takes the discussion route and the other chooses interteaching. Perfect, I look happy. Take the bull by the horns, eh?

My first study partner is EliP. We were diving through the attitudes of science for four points. Everything in life happens as a result of others (determinism). Do direct observation of people before making decisive judgment (empiricism). When in doubt, test out your theory (experimentation). If it works for others, it may not necessarily work for you. Copy, but learn from mistakes (replication). Pick the simplest and most logical explanation; forget the beat-around-the-bush shiz (parsimony). Doubt statistics; don’t make them govern your consumption choices (philosophical doubt).

There. I paid attention.

On the map,
