Snow
day! Although there isn’t much to shout about, except for the strong winds and
rain, I don’t see more than an inch of snow outside. Apparently, the Floridians
at my workplace over exaggerated this snow storm. Perhaps it’s because they are
from the south, a place where snow is only portrayed in storybooks and Christmas.
Yesterday, they talked about how Hurricane Sandy was nothing, and yet they fear
snow blizzards. I can relate to that somewhat, two years in Kalamazoo had
taught me to take on a polar bear composure, playing it cool in cold
temperatures. Right now, for the city to cry over this sleet of snow is a
laughable matter in my opinion. Probably not for the rest of them who came from
warmer spots. Actually, I am originally from a tropical country to begin with.
I suppose both extremes shouldn’t bother me by now. But hell ya, I’ll take one
day holidays anytime of the year regardless whether it’s hot or cold.
Yes
then you’re no,
