It just
dawned on me that March is on the bridge end of its own song. The month was
briskly humming choruses and packing winter’s debris as it leaves. I know very
well that time flies, but April must be pressing on desperately, for what
reason, I wasn’t sure yet. Right now, spring break is but a girl half-dressed
after a blissful night. “It’s time for work,” she said, “until we meet again in
summer.” Of course, had I been a boy, this fling went too short to notice. But
she left me in a daze, and I am crooning patiently for her presence again in
June. I’d tell her to bring me bright skies and sweet smelling flowers.
Just
drew pictures for the colleagues. They will all be in for a surprise next week.
At least I really hope they like what I have installed for them. I have to start
bucking up too; the one book I have to read for the month is eighty pages away
from ending and both songs have yet to copy into my memory. If you ever want a
fun song to play, I’d recommend Yume Sekai and Summer Holiday. With just ten
days left of March, I may have to chip in extra hours to just to say ‘Mission
Accomplished!’
