Q: So even the sky laughs at me, does it?

As my feet made its way into the open, it quickly burrowed itself deeper into the blanket. Way too early to rise was it verdict, for the air was still at a low temperature, evident of dark cloudless night. This might take a while, I thought. No measurement is more reliable than your own body to tell you what’s up with the environment. Hence, those are the very qualities that made us humans resilient you see, like cockroaches, you will probably never see the end of us. And I woke up at noon, just in time for lunch.

Unfortunately, I have to forget about going to DC. PingF is home-ridden with assignments and study time for midterm exams. In one aspect, I am appreciative that my lecturers took the liberty to give mine out last week. While that means having a trouble-free break, it sucks not having anything to do. I suppose I can always prepare for class, that too can wait till the weekends roll by. Tsk, I’ll begin this day by waging war with the bathroom and kitchen. Where are you ol loyal brush and cloth?

Side chara,
Vonnie S.
