Phew! It’s finally Spring break. I could use it now
that that one hectic week is behind me. Unfortunately, I was struck with a bad
news on Friday. The one anticipated trip to Washington DC is facing setbacks. I
want to blame this matter on HJ, considering she did the whole carpet-pulling
trick. By that, I mean she told me at the last minute that her ex-roommate (who
was supposedly willing to accommodate our stay) has yet to settle this
agreement with her current roommate. So much for cherry blossom viewing, but I
was told to wait it out till Sunday, “she might reply us then.” Then you’d say,
why that’s not a problem. Just bloody book a hotel for a night or two right?
Wrong. HJ is under “very tight budget.” I don’t know…this effing sucks.
Yikes, not too sure if I’m gungho enough to plan a
one day trip down just to see those flowers. That would mean having to drag
some people along for the ride. Have to start checking who’s free then.
