If there is a need to watch one good movie this weekend, I highly recommend Hoshi no Ou Kodomo. Makoto Shinkai, the director of this film made my other favorite short film, 5 Centimeters per Second. As expected of his works, quality graphics and sufficient character development will make viewing experience all the more exciting. Like his previous masterpiece, HOK plays with the living after a certain death, this common theme reoccurs in an array of stories, but one can only expect better with Shinkai's personal touch. The only spoiler I'll let you readers in on is that the main characters each lost their loved ones.
