I spilled a cup of tea on the mini cupboard I used as my
laptop table. It’s official. I do make that mistake every single year without
fail. Apparently I aced Klutz 101 with ease, often than not unintentionally so
(then again, how can one be doing this on purpose?). I remembered the stain of
that red wine on my cousin sister’s evening gown. Ho…good ol innocent days. Topic change. Been
having rather spotty internet lines lately and dare I say, it’s getting harder
to blog everyday too considering my schedule is rather tight bound. Honestly,
these days are just a plow through in and out. Since I am assigned two
clients, figuring out the system of this institute is of utmost priority and
doing a decent job is an inescapable must. Good thing both clients' parents seem appreciative to have an international working with their children. Then again, I think I have a good baseline
rate on words like “sorry” and “ok” this week. Let’s try decreasing that after
I’m done with the behavior training. But that will have to wait till Thursday.
Anyway, Carmen gathered a successful turnout of ten
Malaysians at University1’s lounge area. It was to be a potluck party and
get-to-know session. Three Hopkins freshies brought additional meal plan food;
truth to be told, I was only aiming for the plums. The others were of
sophomores and seniors all of which were on some sort of scholarship. So yea, I
was the odd one out. The only graduate student and I don’t get any favors from
the government, not to mention age wise, I'm the oldest too. But they seemed nice and as the undergraduate seniors phase out next year, I suppose it’s good to meet some faces that I know
will stick around for a while.
Omg, I am procrastinating on my readings again. Ikenai!
