Met up with the co-organizers, Davion and Raymond for a
fruitful meeting; I was sure we were all walking out of PappaRich smiling and
at ease. It was a great one; at least we try to keep each other in view of the subject
at hand and not leave them hanging by a thread. Raymond was great today,
contributing some ideas that seem to thread in nicely with the project. That is
something new and as usual, a good change to an otherwise one handed leading
from mua. I also now know that PappaRich’s Ice Lemon Tea is overpriced and too
sweet for my liking. I had to get the waiter twice just to add ice into the
drink, and it was still bloody sweet.
Give me two cups of Teh o Ais Limau, mamak! My wish was granted as we headed over to Ameer Ehsan for a midnight yamcha session. Spain and France were playing against each other today, and should my bookie be around, I’d definitely put five red notes on Spain. They just play better, and that’s a given from being champion the last time round. But our time wasn’t all TV watching, we talked about relationships and friendships, rolled about in the nasty past and ended up laughing at the present.
Back home at 4.30am to a very sleepy father by
the gates, the sky a shade of algae brown.
Night life,
Vonnie S.
