Q: That's from the bottom of my heart.

Manners auntie, please. This old lady was pushing her way through the line at the Arena of Stars, not knowing that I was already sticking closely to my mom’s back. Let’s put it simply in these words; she wasn’t able to get pass me due to the narrow passage and also my stubborn self who refuses to acknowledge rude living beings. Unfortunately for the auntie, Pika called for an invitation to watch Spain and Italy duke it out together over the phone. We were doing some nasty talking, not quite so. I was just complaining to her that people can be so selfish. Age is really just a number at times. And like magic, the ah ma stopped putting pressure on me. Lifesaver!

Genting was surprisingly packed with people and even at 2am, a good majority was up partying and waiting for the final round of the UEFA Euro to begin. My dad wanted to experience the hall and the noise. I would have passed on it if not for those free sculpting balloons! It’s been awhile since I last held one. You should see how this female clown was amazed at work. Some other aunties were pestering me to make a lollipop for them. *sigh* The line wasn’t getting any shorter either.

The game ended in Spain’s favor. Four goals to none and I was delighted. Pika owes me RM200 and dad’s snoring like a lawnmower.

GOAL!!

Q: I am going to feign innocence and keep chugging on.

Your energy is very much like fire. In fact, you use anger to fuel your fire. When it gets too hot, you brazen and lose your wits. Calm down to a quaint amount and fire will come to good use.

Miss Chin was not quiet for those five minutes after. Life is but samsara, she said, so why bother stating the obvious? If one accepts that we live to suffer, we won’t make a hullabaloo about our ups and downs. If you know that you are going to die soon and it is the ultimate fact, what do you do? Sit and being upset about it won’t change a thing. For example, if we are going to lose this game of Scrabble to your lovely eight year old niece, does it matter to get freakishly emotional at all? So we would move on playing the game and enjoying the time spent, relishing in the present.

The philosophy of Buddhism works around that core. Miss Chin emphasized the idea of not calculating loss or gains, instead to be actively neutral about issues in life and be generous to all that matters. You only go to Alaska once in a lifetime, is it a good thing to be tightfisted about spending? Thus, you live your current life once, do you have to withhold the things you have? This is why Miss Chin lives in a one floor terrace house with no air-con and a small patch of home grown vegetables. A good percentage of her salary goes to charity and to others. I had a share of it from time to time in a form of lunches, tho I honestly felt guilty about it. So each time she buys me lunch, I pass it on to a friend or the stray dog and her four brown puppies at my dad’s office.

A simple life,

Q: He literally bought me 20 cups of gt. Down.

So, I grabbed my sports bag and was ready for the door when Miss Chin grabbed on my bag strap. Double grab and yet it wasn’t subtle, I backed up a lil, looking confused and hoping there wasn’t some assignment I’ve overlooked.

“Where you going?” she said, almost out of curiosity. But I had a feeling she wanted more than a simple answer of my next destination, and I was right.

While I spent my afternoons these days in the sweat lounge (sauna room) alone, trying to remove every bits of stress from work, today took me off guard. Don’t get me wrong, I am okay with Miss Chin. However, I am not okay when my privacy is trespassed on. I keed, it’s totally fine to have a company once a while. With Miss Chin, it’s a reason to talk Buddhism. She’s the ultimate spiritual partner if you ever need someone to meditate with. No reason to struggle against her logic, she’s hard core.

We sat in there. Quiet for 20 minutes. I’ll tell you what happen later tonight.

Q: I see funny grammar in the comments.

Ano Hana has got to be one of my most favorite anime at all times. I can tell you a million reasons why, but you've got to watch it for yourself to find out. Really, some stories are better left told anime style!

Kepochi needs some food. Guess my dinner portion could be a lil smaller tonight. Also, to finish up on Rules & Regulation for the Amg website. This calls for a cendol potong ice creamu!

Q: No, they've been doing the same thing for 20 years.

It was fun to mess with my Managing Director. This morning at the elevator, I accidentally close the door on her by pressing the "Close Door" button. Seriously tho, she shouldn't get on it because the box was crammed with clean cut employees and one very cute six year old. The little thing is the daughter of our Coordinating Director, and she was holding onto my hand. There ain't much space to be honest, though it might easily fit her due to her petite physique. But the look on MD's face was one of bewilderment, and I believe one of my colleague gave me a somber pat on the back as we walked out on our level.

I ran quite a cold sweat there as I pondered the choice of waiting for her to get up or to wait a bit only to see her in the meeting room, probably pursing her lips tight to a corner. But Madeline was tugging at my pants, waiting to follow me into the office. Putting her before everything else, I decided to bank the on MD's forgiving nature and ushered Madeline along to a small tall chair in my cubicle. Her father will be busy the whole day and would need a temporary sitter. When we were lined up to be chosen, Madeline walked towards me and held my hands, smiling at her daddy. Such effect can be brought on from just one Japanese candy.

There was still tons to do, and I was doubting if Madeline would come to loathe her time with me. So I kept her busy with an iPad I got from my neighboring cubicle buddy. Satisfied, the child touched the screen away, giggling now and then from the fishes swimming away from her fingers. Then a message came on the screen.

"What was that about?"
"What about what?"
"At the elevator."
"Ah, I pressed the close button instead of open button purely by accident."
"I hope it isn't because you were sulking."

Huh? She must be kidding me. I am not a child to be getting mad over a certain unpaid notice to spend overtime at her department.

"If you'd excuse me, I have to entertain Madeline. -..-"

A flustered MD bought me Daidomon for lunch and lil Madeline loves grilled pumpkin.

Q: How often in life are you riding on a horse with a death stick and a coffin?

History Channel has some of my most favorite shows; Pawn Stars, Kings of Restoration, The Pickers, Brad Meltzer's Decoded, and Ancient Aliens to name a few. But if you're looking for a show that offers a sweet combination of thrill, lengzhais, and horses, you may wanna give Full Metal Jousting a shot.

If I ever get my own horse, his name's gonna be Praetorian.

Sexy horses,

Q: See right, a girl's instinct is always more accurate than a guy's.

Met up with the co-organizers, Davion and Raymond for a fruitful meeting; I was sure we were all walking out of PappaRich smiling and at ease. It was a great one; at least we try to keep each other in view of the subject at hand and not leave them hanging by a thread. Raymond was great today, contributing some ideas that seem to thread in nicely with the project. That is something new and as usual, a good change to an otherwise one handed leading from mua. I also now know that PappaRich’s Ice Lemon Tea is overpriced and too sweet for my liking. I had to get the waiter twice just to add ice into the drink, and it was still bloody sweet.

Give me two cups of Teh o Ais Limau, mamak! My wish was granted as we headed over to Ameer Ehsan for a midnight yamcha session. Spain and France were playing against each other today, and should my bookie be around, I’d definitely put five red notes on Spain. They just play better, and that’s a given from being champion the last time round. But our time wasn’t all TV watching, we talked about relationships and friendships, rolled about in the nasty past and ended up laughing at the present.

Back home at 4.30am to a very sleepy father by the gates, the sky a shade of algae brown.

Night life,
