Q: About a year ago, PM said protest was not Malaysian culture. Now, PM says protest is a sign of a vibrant democracy.

A fracas broke out last night on the street beside my apartment. I could have sworn there were six males jostling about in the dark, yelling and throwing punches at one another. It was two in the morning, and they must be intoxicated. Oh, for the love of cops, where are they when you need them? The fight went on for 20 minutes until I saw one of them got down on his knees to feel his side. A broken rib, maybe? Didn't your momma tell you not to mess around with bad companies when you could have hold sobriety and attend school like every good Hopkins student should. Then again, I wasn't quite sure if they were Jays, nor was I certain the time I eventually went back to bed. These noises are proof of my reality here in Baltimore. Such is a city, such is America, and such will be so for me in the next two years to come.

Five chapter readings, five articles, and two take home quizzes. When will these ever end?

Bright skies,
