Q: Proud of myself by being useless.

My seemingly irrational procrastination mode was turned on from the moment I realized what a lovely day it was when I looked out the window. Blue skies are a reason to celebrate here since the coming fall has cleansed Baltimore with showers of rain, occasionally accompanied by storm warnings. Not that those sort of news brings agita to this young adult, much like the tornado warnings back in Kalamazoo, this calamity hardly ever descends upon the city. But I'll hold my tongue. Don't want to jinx my luck on it.

Anyway, I took the liberty to do some grocery shopping at Giant (good reason to walk). I haven't been quite as picky about my food off late. Baby carrots, rice, chicken, egg, an apple, and at least two slices of bread were like religious food to take daily, and I hardly ever mind repeating the menu, as long as my stomach's full. This week, I foresee stress and more assignments, so I let myself go on this one. Grapes, Mountain Dew, Nutella, chicken soup, and cereal were on my list; out of the window, "calorie watch"! That is one term I won't ever want to deal with right now.

Carrying those items and walking back was a real challenge, but as mission was completed, I can't help not beaming with smile. I had to sacrifice my inner layer of clothes to the laundry bag, heck that basket's piling up real quick day in and out. Speaking of procrastination, I wonder when am I going to get round to cleaning my work table. It's hella landfill-ish. *sigh*

Cousin brother's getting married right now! Congratulations Alvin Sing! Bigger responsibility from today onwards, old man. Be happy always. :)
