Q: Story of my life, eh?

I am not against humanity. These cards are.
I played Cards Against Humanity not too long ago with several slightly intoxicated Hopkins students and had a hell of a time. Who doesn't like playing with drunk kids, the kind that are supposed to be studious college students, anyway? This game is perfect for a Friday night to waste youth away by laughing so hard that your stomach is the one doing the throw ups. As crazy as it gets, they launched a holiday expansion pack on their website recently (I believe it's still ongoing), and you can get them at any amount you wish to price it for. No kidding! The recommended amount is just five bucks, supposedly to cover the overall cost of it and must I say, it's totally worth it if you're a fan.

Mine arrived today in the mailbox and dare I say, the packaging alone has Christmas painted all over it. From the envelope with the cartoon Santa, to the white-red color of the card pack, I almost thought it was my sample gingerbread cookie if it wasn't for the sender address. I don't actually know the retail price of these cards, but I estimate them to cost at least $10 (should they ever go on sale). A great gift for those who are planning on getting the game or those who already got the game.

Reindeers are too hot for Christmas, apparently.

Q: I don't ever want him to get used to me...

Credits to DeingeL (c) Winter Remembrance
December marks the end of Fall semester, the celebration of festivities (Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and my cousin brother's birthday), snowy cold world outside, colorful lights on house porches, the long needed winter break, hibernation mode kicking in, advent calendar (have to collect for PL too), piping hot chocolate,  layers upon layers of outerwear, parties to celebrate with friends, and all things pure. Walking into B&N today, I had to buy that one JHU keychain. The plated teardrop thing is so pleasant to the eyes that I must have it. In fact, such a lovely souvenir it would make should I ever get tired of gazing at its intricate details. Alas, I have to enter Lost Desert tonight. Half way to the end and I can already smell that trophy!

Q: I hope Karma bites you hard.

Darn weather! You shan't always fluctuate as you please. I doubt in your ability to self control, for your nature is as impulsive as it gets, such as that of earthquakes and tsunami. You don't get as detrimental of a consequence, but it irritates me for having to constantly switch my outfits. If you want to be cold, stay that way so that I will know how to deal with you. I am but human, he is but human too, yet the poor man suffers as he sits night and day outside Starbucks, waiting on strangers' lose changes. "Hi, do you need help?" he said while I balanced my grocery bags. I shook my head, not caring to stop and wonder if he ever sees his family. To please myself, I had no breakfast. For that little extra fifteen minutes in bed, I was late for work. It was cheap bagel day, and I was content with cream cheese on an Everything. And with those reasons combined, I got off the bus after work and bought that poor man a Subway sandwich.

Karma driven,

Q: But don't blame the victim.

Four articles are a breeze when you put a goal and a reward at then end of the line. Hold up, I am not supposed to use the word "reward", but heck, my audiences aren't behavior analysts, and I love you guys all the same. Speaking of throwing "love" around easily, I have Americans to thank for that. If it wasn't for your flamboyant display of affection, I suppose I wouldn't have been accused of such frivolous act. Words are a part of a bigger chain of events that circumvent itself and can hardly be ever taken back as much as we ask others to. You see, by saying something, you imprinted a word into the universe, more specifically into a memory of someone, someplace, and someday. And people are hardly forgetful, especially when tied on an emotion firecracker. Once set off, your only bet is to find a place for shelter from the impending shell debris. Soldiers do that all the time at war, and they remained the most under appreciated occupation everywhere else in the world. They operate in a higher order, controlled by words. We will cower and run at "fire" and they will charge forward at "go". Everything relates to psychology and contingencies are everywhere, such as how everything is essentially of a molecule and that molecules are everywhere.

Q: I'm convinced that bacon is the universal solution to any problem out there.

If there is a need to watch one good movie this weekend, I highly recommend Hoshi no Ou Kodomo. Makoto Shinkai, the director of this film made my other favorite short film, 5 Centimeters per Second. As expected of his works, quality graphics and sufficient character development will make viewing experience all the more exciting. Like his previous masterpiece, HOK plays with the living after a certain death, this common theme reoccurs in an array of stories, but one can only expect better with Shinkai's personal touch. The only spoiler I'll let you readers in on is that the main characters each lost their loved ones.

Say what,

Q: Man.... Should've just gone ahead with my dreams of becoming an astronaut.

Made a solid plan on how and who's smuggling Malaysian stuffs into the states for me this year. I got them all tracked down and ready to go! Probably the next step is trying to keep mom in the loop. Otherwise, it looks like keeping homesickness at bay for the next full year is going to be a mission success. Behold, I have to work on getting my printer all inked up for badge printing. Sigh, I had to be the nice fellow to do BB a favor. Quite an easy task, but no doubt a hassle. Then there's that behavior change project I have to kick start today.

Looks like one of my new year's resolution is going to be fulfilled! 80% blog post count is just within reach if I blog every single day from now on. Too easy, what a laksho!

Bow wow haa haa,

Q: Singlish/Manglish/mangled English for LIFE.

Aw...my guitar has finally arrived. I really like this one for its sleek body and smooth sound. Honestly, I would have readily given my Maestro guitar up for sale, had it not been for all the signatures on its body. Suddenly its value raised from nothing to priceless. Then again, it's in Malaysia taking a break, chilling itself out after two years of intense playing. Had I not left it home, I would have been sharp on my chords. Unfortunately, six month of break costed me a one hella ticket ride back to square one, maybe three. Haha^^

Time to rumble!
