I spoke
to two of the current staff members of an event I founded, one being the event
director. It’s stressful, I’m sure of it. To personally hear out their
concerns, I was feeling a lil down. But that goes to say that it is not because
I lost confidence in them, it is because it is relatable. What they had to say
brought me back to the days when I was in charge. The event built my personality,
bridged my relationship with others, and on top of that, rewarded me with that
feeling of accomplishment I so greatly need to be confident in myself.
Here’s
an interesting thought I had after a short talk on the bus with myself: If you
end up going back to Malaysia, would you want to take over that event again?
The answer doesn’t surprise me at all. In other words, I wouldn’t be
disappointed even if I had to go home.
A firm
YES,
Vonnie S.
