Dinner at Kikyo was a blast! Spot on jokes, tons of sashimi and pleasant company stole the day's limelight. Of course, my awesome fifteen laps swimming record is no hush tale to be taken lightly, but I'll let it slide for now. Save to say, when we are gathered, be it, two or seven, there's bound to be epic nonsense-ness going around the table for all to share. High school besties in their worst behavior, at least, we're keeping our lids on and amazingly our sanity intact as well. Did I mentioned that I did a quadruple kill playing the Stupid game? Imma imba!
YanLeng unintentionally split our funny bones apart when she unfathomably complained about her neighbor "banging on her wall". Allow me to explain why this gets so funny...no forget it, I won't even try. Com'on, you're big enough to know this. I digress. Personally, I find jokes irresistible when they are told with a straight face. Trust me, YanLeng nailed that one really well. Forget law school, she's one heck of a Bruce Lee stand-up comedian!
At ten years or more, I must say the friendship is still going strong. Like the sailboat moving away from the docks, it slowly progresses forward. And with the blessing of the winds, may it continue to do so for many more years to come.
Sake to maguro please?
