"That's the thing that drives me crazy. People go out to dinner with a crowd and everyone's on their phone. I mean, what else are you looking for?"

It's easily been a month since I've deactivated my account. Although I did not go to the extent of cutting away from all technology like Jake Reilly did, this tiny exercise did taught me a plenty and I believe if you give it a shot, you’d get what I mean as well. There is often that urge to go back to FB, but after the initial two weeks, it felt natural not ever owning one. My Skype account is still available, and I do access my email, but some people don’t bother with doing what one considers slower pace stuff anymore.

It greatly disappoints me to
know that some people expects you to know what’s going on in their life and when
you personally meet them, there’s nothing to talk about. That impairment was
easily overcome once I said, I dunno for I’m not on FB anymore. When I say “some”,
it does refer to the many friends I have who can’t seem to put their phones
aside for a decent face conversation. I may have been guilty of it myself,
perhaps six years ago when I got my Sony Ericsson. But there’s a change of mind
over the years, and now it goes saying “I did say to take your time, not take
my time.”
So what have I been up to
without FB you say? Swimming, breakfast with parents, reading, hanging out with
friends, planning ****** ******, running uphill, and the list goes on…
