Q: Can't find cocaine on here...

So ladies and gentlemen, after many years of living a solitary life, I can finally sing this song out loud for all to hear. Though, unfortunately for you, I have zero Korean language skills to do it any justice. Be happy for me okay?

Too dang serious, I have to use Times New Roman to write this entry.

E: Happy Easter Sunday!

User mario40475 (Heather) drew Kumakee for me, and boy I must say she did an excellent job. So I gave her a codestone and a book as a commission pay, Neopets style. Interesting right? It’s always cool to think about living in a virtual world or an alternate reality. Not so much of trying to escape from real life, but to experience being a part of that wonder. Talk about visiting another country of a different culture, a land so strange to you yet intriguing. I’d like that for a change of pace too. Again, not justifying that one should waste their life online. Just making sure you got the word.

I’d like to ride a Chocobo, go hunt some Balrogs with a couple of party members, chill at a tavern with a butterbeer in hand, pet a unicorn under a rainbow, put on armors and wield dual swords. The list goes on. Knowing these things will remain a fantasy dream, I’m settled for celebrating the Festival of Neggs with fellow Neopians.

Special thanks to infantdaydream (Hannah) for this negg. :)

Q: Tell your momma I said Hi!

I am such a sucker when it comes to doing charity. After receiving RM10 worth of credit, I didn’t hesitate to spend it away for the good of others. Mom would have benefited from a hearty lunch, but then again, she wouldn’t like most of the restaurants on Groupon anyway. Rather than bathing in criticisms, I’d rather feed the poor. Hey, that’s friggin two weeks’ worth of deed there. I’d be reining in Karma faster than a vacuum cleaner at this rate. Let me see anyone of you top this!

It’s over,

Q: When you feel like quitting, think about why you started.

Dear Journal article,

Sorry for giving you the cold shoulder. I left you in the dumps and you must have caught on that things haven’t been going the way I planned. As such, I have yet to make the decision to return to you despite seven days had passed. Holiday is the only one in my mind at that moment in time. It sounds very selfish of me to leave you hanging despite promising to take responsibility for my actions. Trust me though; I will be back in your warm embrace soon. In fact, it may be as late as tomorrow I fear. Love, you know me better than a lot of people in this world. For that reason, I beg you to remain legible, understandable, and forgiving. And I’ll be right around the corner, burning the midnight oil with you over covers and holding you tight with my hands. Stimulate my mind as you always do. I’ll highlight your wisdom, and cherishing those words forever.

P/s: Holiday has the PE issues anyway. :P

Love,
Vonnie S.

Q: I guess nobody ever told you.

For the most part, I had a good day. I walked alone at the harbor area, had McDonald’s, went to get some postcards and then to the post office for stamps. On the way back, I even stopped by a used bookstore to pick up two books (Edith Hamilton’s Mythology & Dan Brown’s The Lost Symbol). Poor owner is closing the business and was selling most books off for three bucks. You can say I took advantage of the deal and I was glad to have done so. Waiting for the buses took forever today, but I eventually got home and made noodles for dinner. Sounds good so far? Dang right on.

So what about the lesser part of the day then? I haven’t yet done anything for class. Presumably, I’ll be doing last minute studying as usual. In the end, I realized that I have yet to pull myself together despite after going through two semesters. Depressing, yes. Then, I caught a glimpse of PL’s mind, an emotional roller coaster ride as I read her current blog post. I cried for her, hoping that it will take a lil sorrow away and make her tomorrow a lil lighter.

Q: It's about time one of them makes an offer.

Shall I have sushi or you for dinner? Tough choice.
Watching Yojimbo in honor of Akira Kurosawa via Hulu. It’s been half a century since its release, but this is pretty high-def for a black and white film. The main character reminds me very much of Gintoki (Gintama). Perhaps all samurais has this sort of manly air about them. Still worth my time I suppose, considering it was a hit back then.
