We had M. Butterfly analysis done in my Literary Interpretation class today. It was awesome. Brendan as monotonous Frenchman, Gallimard and ColleenF as Chinese Opera singer, Song Liling. ColleenF did a great job with reading her lines, it was so intense and filled with passion. I should find a day to pour some details regarding the drama since it is really an awesome one. Strangely awesome. Maybe it's because of the Oriental blood kicking in. (Kiasu, must support.)
Er...let's see... I chose to do Suzuki (Cio Cio San's maid), also a character overlapping from Madame Butterfly. She has this long paragraph in Scene V. I did well on that, heck it's just reading, no biggie. Me saying "Girl, he's a loser" sent some of my classmates laughing. Then again, do Oriental girls say such words? I believe we prefer to get our dads to handle things; rotan, parang, and all. Haha^^
Now onwards to my assignment! Show me the meaning of procrastination at its best!
P/s: Sai Yi kicked my Simba off the bed. The poor thing was crying about his bruised paws.
Ah! Dolce notte!
Beautiful night!

Q: OMG...this is fantastic!
Q: I am getting a Migraine, and I better leave.

The weather is getting colder as I am typing this post. Let’s just say the gray hanging clouds over head and the tormenting rain in the face are not helping with the situation either. They keep people in the buildings. The streets are practically lifeless and empty. I get hungrier by the minute. The sad shade of the outdoors is depressing. Yea, that reminds me. My laundries aren’t ready yet because of the stupid malfunctioning dryer. That would simply mean I have to head out there in another 45 minutes. I don’t want to…
Semester is going on well. Quite well. Smoothly, not quite so, except all is well. I appreciate that to an extent, the busy times are what’s keeping me on my tippy toes day to day. Heck, I even got sick twice and it worked in a cycle of fever, cough, flu, phlegm and flu again. Not pretty as I stared at them mucus colors change from white, cream to transparent. Disgusting things congesting my lungs. Truth to be told, it is a season of confrontation if I say so myself. I did a couple of that, and made a good friend cry, I faced my fears and learned what it means to dig deep. Yes, the weather is depressing and it has been one tough miserable semester, wow it’s like a train wreck. But I’m loving it.
Not everything is awful. I had my fair share of surprises over the months. Two honor society invitations, two astounding brothers, a brand new acoustic guitar, a job offer overseas, couple of “insects” stalking about, free dinners at the cafeteria and many more such welcoming gifts. I am equally thankful for these wonderful bequests.
Rwar, Dancing with the Stars Finale are now on TV. And my clothes are beckoning me to brave the winds once again. That's me, living life on the edge.
I’ll leave with a shout out to TsingYie and PeiLi. Study hard and good luck besties!
Rock on Kyle! (though I think Jennifer will win and she DID!)

Q: I'm about to tell you a ghost story...
In class yesterday, this American friend of mine, wanted to tell me a ghost story about the East Campus side of WMU. I must say, she set up the scene pretty finely as she put on a very serious look, along with a rather whispery voice, and said...
"There was this camping trip the students organized during last summer. The night was dark and there were no traces of stars in the sky. It was quite chilly, surprisingly so...they said. I have a friend who was on fire duty that night and she wasn't supposed to leave the bonfire place, but she did anyway. Her partner on duty warned her about walking alone, but my friend couldn't be bothered and walked toward the east campus building in search for a bathroom.
She found it, eventually, but her head began to hurt terribly. It was so painful, she lost her footings sometime. Footsteps can be heard across the hallway. Someone was closing a door. Yet, she moved into the bathroom to hide and to relieve herself. There was absolutely no one in there. She got into a cubicle and tried to get things done as soon as she can. But as she got up from the toilet seat, she saw the toilet seat was stained with blood."
I gulped and she continued.
"It seems it was time for her period and she forgotten to use her pad."
Damn potong steam wei! I nearly slam my psychology book into her face. Trust me, you have no idea.
Tsk tsk tsk...

Q: If you can't beat it, shoot it.
So we were playing the Taboo board game awhile back during one of a Friday mini gathering and encountered two rather interesting scenario. Thanks to Sheta and HuaSet.
----------------------------------------
HuaSet got "Family Tree" as his taboo word. The game works better for those who are good in English. You’ll need a wide vocabulary to help guide your teammates to guess the word you’re having. But he was worried about other things as well, since his girlfriend, ChuSyen knows exactly what her boyfriend is saying despite just gesturing. Talk about same frequency. (Btw, ChuSyen was in the opposing team. Then, it really became his worst nightmare.)
HS: You know...er...up there got one, then down there got two, and three and four...
Everyone else gave blank looks and a couple of "huhs?" can be heard.
CS: Family Tree!
What can I say, it's fun to separate couples then you see them bombarding each other. It's cute in a way. Again HuaSet, it’s a family tree…ultimately, you have to start with TWO people, not ONE.
----------------------------------------
But I believe Sheta delivered the epic moment of the game. You see, I got "50 cent" as the Taboo word. I know it is about a rapper. But I don’t know any of the songs he wrote (and I bet my teammates, ChuSyen and Jenny don’t too) so, I went ahead devising other ways to help them guess it out. Thus, in all my cleverness, I had a flawless plan, or so I thought.
Me: If you take two quarter coins, how much does it add up to?
ST: *with much gusto* ONE DOLLAR!!!
Omg...that my friends, reminded me very much of MelC with her “arteri” moment.
LOL,

Q: Ma, it's fine.
It keeps crawling, and coming, and picking at his sanity. He does what he can to stay calm. Head down, hands at his side, roaming the hallway unnoticed by most, except for those who plague him. He never did anything to deserve harassment, but then again who did? He prays every night just to be invisible. Although he aches for affection, he doesn't want the attention given through shoves and strikes. It's not only physical. The verbal abuse is just as abundant. And some times, it hurts a lot worse. All sorts of obscenities are yelled, as he tries to ignore and just keep walking. But one can only ignore for so long. He balls his fists up, and tightens his hands, hoping to just bottle up his frustration without an episode. He just wants to be unnoticed. He doesn't stick up for himself, hoping that by being the 'bigger man', and just walking away, the harassment would stop. But it doesn't. And some times he blames himself. There has to be a reason they pick on me, he would say to himself, but never out loud. Any time he tries to make his situation known, he is patronized and belittled by condescending adults who just don't understand.A person can only take so much before they reach their breaking point. Being shoved into lockers, randomly punched, and verbally harassed brings otherwise quiet, shy people to the brink. And this boy is no different. He shakes his fists and his eyes close, as he tries to disappear. Just disappear off to some distant world where he isn't the awkward, weird kid that walks through the hallways and is constantly bullied. But there's no magic in hoping or wishing, and you can't just hope your problems away. Today he decides to take a stand, and stick up for himself. His fists no longer shake, instead they are sledgehammers and weights that come down on top of another child's face. It doesn't matter who the child is, or what they've done. Years of bottled up rage and frustration now on the delivering end, instead of the receiving end. The blame is irrelevant and the cause doesn't matter. Whether the bullied or the bully, there's still a victim, and often it is both.
I hope he's okay.
