Q: We have clearly bigger problems and when I say bigger, it is really BIG!

The past is our definition. We may strive, with good reason, to escape it, or to escape what is bad in it, but we will escape it only by adding something better to it.

-Wendell Berry

Met up with the current AMG committee and I am very amazed at their commitment to the club. Part of me wants to pinch them hard on the cheeks because they made me feel less of a leader. The determination surpassed that of a sea moss to a ship, and despite me telling them to leave the club, they refused to do so. I have reasons to be inspired by young'ins and that I believe is a lesson I will not soon ever forget.

Q: Mei mei mo...what do you think..

Mom is learning to use her Galaxy Young! This is some breakthrough news because she actually managed to send to me, amidst the heavy rainstorm, a text that went, "Becareful raining heavily outside. Don't drive so fast." Lucky thing I left Gavin's place on time before the pelting water drops, with a big box of goodies riding in the trunk, thumping away with every swerve I made.

Q: No, I just keep quiet...

The good thing about having Clarisse over is that I have someone to buy me cheesy wedges from KFC every single day. Trust me, she is diligent enough to commit the duty each day she got off work this week. Sweet. A large box of oozy goodness delivered right at my room step and honestly, someone needs to hire her as a delivery girl. Note: Not as a dietician, confirmed. The food is always piping hot, and at 8pm, becomes a nice side dish to go with a dose of Running Man episodes. Out of curiosity perhaps, would be her appearance at my household these last couple of days, you’d say. Well, question no more. In this post, we’re revealing a surprise and while the birthday kid remains hiatus in Bali, we can go ahead telling you about it.

ktsiong tweeted once that he wish to have a birthday party resembling a variety show. And let’s be real, I didn’t want to participate in all these tediousity, especially not during this month of wonderfull schedules. (Typos aren’t typos.) But you know, I really wanted him to be happy, and plus it’s been awhile since we last gathered round to give him a good one. So Clarisse and I figured we need to crash course with the best (not to mention, current) variety show – Running Man. Well, birthday boy likes this show and this will certainly boost our performance on Friday.

What can I say, the show is really good. That is the extent of our criticism, comparable to the length of one potato wedge. With just a little over four days left, we’re still brainstorming and the study will continue tonight!

Q: Everyone knows you're still sleeping lah!

Oh man ClarisseF, where do I even begin? Woman came barging into my humble abode to share my bed for six nights which surprised me because I knew she is very busy. Let me stress on that because here we’re sitting for lunch and mid-way thru ordering, a phone call may send her running back into the office. But it’s not a bad thing, I get that, she prioritizes her duties and with superb time managing skills, she slots some for her friends. The office thing had to come first and at this point in life, career overtakes much of our joys in life. Been there, going there, and understand that. You have to admit tho it’s a pretty smart thing to do too, having sleepovers here and there to maintain ties.

I didn’t tell Clarisse, but she kicked me twice yesterday night. So much for having a queen sized bed.

Q: Oh, mushroom sauce just the way I like it.

Yet another exhausting day for me today, but it ended on a graceful note. I am not going to go detail mode on my outing just yet. Right now, this post is for a loyal reader of mine, teddybearskies who two months ago, asked me to point out a favorite spot in my permanent home. Immediately, one came to mind and it is special because believe it or not, that's probably one of the reason why I like getting up early on a weekend.

Voila, my mom's bathroom. Strange place, but chya know...I enjoy sitting by the small tub just staring at this one spot behind the ol crapper place to see a rainbow prism reflection. As a child, in this quiet sanctuary, I find peace and serenity. I can't help it but to think that the fairies came to visit too.

Silly me,

Q: Trust me, I got this covered.

A fine friend of mine who came over for a sleepover wants me to do a photoblog because it would be a superb idea to instill discipline and encourage me to do some photo editing works. Fine by me I'd say if it allows me to experiment with the software itself. So people, I bring to you...

Whatz that mean?

Q: I think she made a mistake...

Dried mulberries taste extraordinary when I mixed them with strawberry yogurt and that proved to be a satisfying breakfast for awhile now. Eyeing on reducing the food intake before I jump into the pool two hours later (to ease digestion), I finished the calcium pack while deciding to mull over the new iPad applications I installed the night before. The one that struck me with much interest was the Ticket to Ride app. I am sure many of you may have heard me speak much of this game – why, it merely won board game of the year and if that is not important to you then never mind.

Truth to be told, I was hooked right from the start. Well, for starters, I didn’t have to count the route points because the game automatically does so which is mighty convenient. Moreover, the sound effects are simply spot on with the animated enlargement of the trains chugging away as you complete a route. Then again, the winning streak proved to be reinforcing my behavior of pressing the Play button. I should have thought this through, perhaps my AI opponent is an amateur or I may have tinkered with the settings. Who knows really… Gosh, and as the battery died on me, I realized I was late for my swimming session. Good job.

Sounds like,
