I
brought up Sora at the last post and she’ll play central here too. I just
attended her convocation and department reception yesterday. Good thing the whole
procession didn’t take long; in fact, I accompanied her mom and AmandaL around
the campus, acting like a photographer. More like a paparazzi? Gave her a Brave
black bear cub plush toy and card bearing everyone’s signature in it. In exchange,
she gave me a little cell phone accessory of this Korean pouch. At least we
parted in cheery mood; a reminder that goodbyes don’t have to always be of
tears.
The
night before however was a little different. I slept over at HJ’s place. Had
kimchi and pork belly for dinner. The highlight has got to be when her roommate
and oppa returned home carrying a little field mice. What happened to the little
thing you ask? Death by water.
