After a
year and a half living at this apartment, things are showing signs of wear and
tear. For instance, two light bulbs decided they had enough of work and called
quits on the same day. She was left dumbfounded, but not at all a total lost.
Your friend is well prepared for situations such as these, given the fresh box
of light bulbs hidden inside the closet. They were inexpensive and ready to
use. However, something else was bothering your friend. The height of it all.
That ceiling was beyond reach. No matter how much she scratched her head, it
won’t get any closer. But hey, she then remembered that a roommate happened to
be lying around, serenading to some Indian tune.
Glad
those got taken care of. An hour later, the roommate came running. She said,
“Aiee, the bathtub is clogged with water.” Where’s McGyver when I need him?
Oil and
water,
Vonnie S.
