It's Spring Break as this post continues to blot itself with words. Finished Guest of the Shiek yesterday night while engaging in a series of Sequence battle with RyanA and PhilipY till 2am. The book is an excellent window to the Shiite Islamic lifestyle, on the contrary, the game is an evident casement to the jobless Asian lifestyle. Both of them I enjoyed very much, proving that the much neglected multi-tasking ability comes handy at times such as this one. I killed two birds with one stone. Onward to the Bastard of Istanbul!
While I may sound like I am down with the same ol’ demanding humdrum of a student’s life, pacing is pretty lax this week. Taking care to rest as much, get some gears oiled before returning to campus on a high note. Not to mention, Spring Break is nothing but a teaser to Summer, somewhat relating to seeing skirts fly when the wind blows, when there's no plan. With the hype gone, you’re back to being bored at home. Wait, I got the company of assignments and the rather “lovely” if often not, out-of-tune singing of my roommate.
Managed Romance D’Amour and am planning pick up When You Tell Me that You Love Me from where I left off. Time really can dash forward, leaving you behind. I can really use a good stallion to chase it. Overkill, since I think shooting the Procrastination Devil with an AK-47 outta be a far better choice, for there’s always a possibility of falling off the horse.
KatieR’s movie invitation was a pleasant surprise. Girl wants to watch Black Swan. *twitch twitch* LanceT chicken out on this one, don't he know there’s always the popcorn for comfort in case of uncanny scenes. *sigh*
Shout out to HeidiS for giving me The Time Traveler’s Wife. She gets The Life of Pi!
End of February means it's time to pay rent again...
You know I'm awesome,
Vonnie S.

ReplyDeleteDying to carry? That is if I got like tons of money behind my back. I don't have to carry the guilt nor the responsibility by that time then.
